It is already January 5th of 2013 We have begun a New Year. The past is gone. Whatever joys or heartaches, whatever lessons learned or values gained, they are only a memory...a vapor. We have new pages to fill, new lives to live, new hopes to stretch for, and time to draw deeper into the wells of Salvation. We are a year closer to the coming of Christ....our greatest joy. May God be praised for all that He is about to do!
It's that time of year when most people are feeling jolly, happy, and generous. The Spirit of God seems to get through to most people in this time when hearts are open and giving. My prayer is that the same generous and loving spirit continues through the New Year. If you are alone for Christmas I encourage you to snuggle with God. He doesn't always change our circumstances but He always gives us endurance, and the sweet, sweet feeling of joy as we bathe in His Presence.Merry Christmas to all.
